The annual Agriculture and Forestry Expo (AGFO) 2017 takes place at the Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre in White River, Mpumalanga, from 14 to 16 September 2017.

The AGFO Expo, the preferred trade platform for the agriculture and forestry sectors, proved extremely successful last year and, with the number of sponsors and exhibitors that have already come on board for 2017, it promises a wide variety of sector-specific exhibitors and a successful networking and trade platform.

“Great trade figures were reported at AGFO 2016,” confirms Joey Lascelles, Chairperson of the AGFO committee and CEO of United Forest Products.

“This is because it’s designed as an effective trading platform for the agriculture and forestry industries in Mpumalanga, where like-minded people are able to gather, network and do business to ensure the growth of the economy in these sectors,” she says.

AGFO offers great value for all exhibitors, including various stand sizes, to suit different needs, all of which are well-priced. Exhibitors also receive free entrance tickets, an opportunity to demonstrate equipment in the arena, exposure on social media platforms, free entry to the networking event and much more.

AGFO Expo 2017’s gold sponsor is the MTO Group, with United Forest Products and Ezigro Seedlings as silver sponsors. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available and interested parties can contact Joey on 082 8546155 for more information.

Confirmed exhibitors include the MTO Group, Ezigro Seedlings, United Forest Products, Rudamans, Flexilube, Silvix Forestry, Bell Equipment, Mountain View Nursery, Lowveld Escarpment Fire Protection Association, Palm Motors, Turner Morris, Palfinger Southern Africa, Woodmizer, Rainbow Reservoirs, LVM Insurance Brokers, Turboformance, BCCSA, Ecoguard, Everstar, Malelane Garage Equipment, Enviro Chainsaws/STIHL, Farmtrac, 2CURE and MIX Telematics Africa.

Events on the programme include a networking function, an agriculture and forestry forum, product and equipment demonstrations, various competitions, ‘boeresport’, fire-fighting demonstrations, beer tent, and entertainment for children and adults including jumping castles and live music.

There are various sponsorship opportunities and exhibitor stands to choose from, so please contact the AGFO team at admin@agfo.co.za to secure your place as soon as possible.

Entrance fees for adults on Thursday and Friday are only R30, and children R20. On Saturday, the entrance fee for adults is R50, whilst children – accompanied by an adult – are free. Pensioners are free on all days.
