International Day of Forests – Forests and Water

The International Day of Forests is scheduled for 21 March, and the Collaborative Partnership on Forests has chosen Forests and Water as this year's theme.

Watch the excellent video (below) that shows how vital forests are to water supply. Forests influence how and where rain falls and they filter and clean water as well. Protecting the world’s forests is key to the future of the planet...
