Growing Timber Connections aims to promote Timber Construction in South Africa and abroad. The alliance was initiated through a collaboration between the South African government, academia and industry. The Department of Trade Industry and Competition (the dtic) was instrumental in initiating the process that led to the alliance.

The conference will be held on September 8-10, 2025 in Everett, WA, USA, with an optional post-conference tour on September 11-13. To submit your abstract for the First Call for Papers, please complete one of the forms (Word version or PDF version) and email your completed form to Brett Butler and/or Calvin Norman. The submission deadline for the first call for papers is February 12, 2025.
