The Peterson 2710D high production, heavy duty, mobile grinder.

The Peterson grinder is a highly efficient and productive machine, a game changer in the industry. Peterson has an unmatched commitment to the grinding industry. Since 2013, Nelspruit-based Forestry Plant & Equipment has been the authorised dealer for Peterson in South African.

The Peterson 2710D horizontal grinder is designed for operations requiring high production and is one of the most sought after grinders in South Africa. It was the smallest grinder in the Peterson range at the time it was introduced into the South African market, with the new 1700 model now being smallest. The 2710D is available with a choice of engines: Caterpillar Tier III C15 580 hp or the Caterpillar Tier II C18 765 hp. Heavy duty and mobile, the 2710D has outstanding production throughput for a machine of this size.

What sets Peterson Grinders apart and makes them best in their class is the 3-stage grinding process that provides faster reduction of material. Peterson’s powerful up- turn 3-stage grinding process provides better fracturing of material and a more consistent product. With a variation of grid sizes available, the grinder will produce just the product you are looking for.
