Lost in the forest (with a camera)

Ellie Davies, a London-based photographer, uses forests as a backdrop (or studio) to create magical scenes that re-imagine the space in a unique way. Her photographs are somewhere between installations and landscapes, as she subtly adds to the scenes that she is photographing without drastically altering the environment. She uses smoke, lights, a splash of paint to bring these quiet woods to life. Check out the video below, which explores her images and ideas...
