SAF mag August highlights

August 31, 2016

SA Forestry magazine, August edition, is out now!

This month Chris Chapman visits a community in Mabandla, which is achieving excellent sustainable development based on a foundation of forestry. The community is making major progress in forestry, agriculture, education AND ecotourism, proving to be a shining light in southern KZN, an area that faces many challenges. The community recently opened a sawmill, which will enable them to process their own timber.

Other magazine highlights include: profiles on the NCT farmers of the year, the launch of STIHL’s new MS 382 chainsaw, a look at green energy innovation at MTO, an investigation into root development, industry news and more!

Subscribe to SA Forestry magazine to stay informed about the industry and connected to your colleagues.
